At age 12, he and his siblings immigrated to the United States in search of safety and a better future. Despite facing hardships without parental guidance, his sister’s unwavering support helped him navigate his new life.
He later earned a degree in Biochemistry from Minnesota State University, Mankato, before attending Emory University School of Medicine. Realizing medicine wasn’t his true calling, he enlisted in the U.S. Army, where he gained discipline, resilience, and clarity about his future. After his military service, he pursued a Master of Science in Accounting at Liberty University, specializing in audit and financial reporting.
Today, Teto Korha works as an Internal Auditor at the Naval Audit Service, applying his expertise to financial integrity and operations. His journey from war-torn Liberia to a successful career in the U.S. is a testament to his perseverance and adaptability.
