Award-winning author, Annie C. Maclin-Johnson is a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society and was on the Dean’s List while attending college. Her years as a realtor were gratifying as she watched families' positive and emotional responses after achieving the American dream of becoming a homeowner. But Annie’s lifelong goal was to become a published author.

She reached her goal in August 2023 when her first book, “WHO SAID THAT?” was published. She won the LitStar Book award for Outstanding Children’s Book. 

Annie now has a series of books as she continues to inspire children to develop a positive mindset toward their physical features, tone, and hair. 

She expresses in “WHO DID THAT?” and “FOUR EYES ADVANTAGE?” that even a young child can make a big difference in a huge society.  

In “WHO IS THAT?” she asks children and grandchildren to clench their grandparents’ hands firmly to listen to the legacy and history of the family tree. Their love and wisdom are gems.
