Camerie Porter
Camerie Porter is an educator, writer, and advocate for emotional healing and self-discovery. Through honest storytelling and reflection, she shares her journey through grief, abandonment, survival, and healing in hopes of helping others feel seen and understood.
A graduate of Bowie State University and Liberty University, Camerie has spent over a decade working in education, where she is passionate about creating safe and supportive spaces for young people to grow emotionally and academically.
Carrying What Wasn’t Mine is her debut memoir. Through her writing, Camerie hopes to encourage others to release shame, confront inherited pain, and embrace healing with honesty and grace.
