Eastmond P. Buckner
Eastmond Buckner is a cultural preservationist, family historian, and devoted steward of his ancestral legacy. Rooted in the rich spiritual and historical tapestry of South Carolina’s Lowcountry, his work documents the intersection of faith, heritage, and generational resilience within his own lineage.

Inspired by his father, James Buckner—the family’s first videographer historian—Eastmond carries forward a mission to record the present for the future. His research traces his family’s journey from West Africa through the Gullah-Geechee lands surrounding the Combahee River, preserving stories of perseverance, faith, and identity.

Blending logistical expertise with a Christian worldview, Eastmond equips families with practical frameworks for building unity and sustaining legacy. He views family organization not as event planning, but as a sacred responsibility—transforming reunions into purposeful gatherings that strengthen spiritual, relational, and historical bonds for generations to come.

Now residing in Maryland, he continues to champion the enduring call to family connection: For Such a Time as This.
