About the event
The four-hour live book expo features regional African American authors showcasing books in all genres for all ages.
BLK Author Expo Suitland will bring together writers, readers, educators, students, editors, and publishers of contemporary creative writing to promote African American contributions to American literature and public conversation.
The Expo is free and open to the public.
Vendors: Meet book lovers and build your fan base. Exhibit spaces are available to authors, bookstores, artists/illustrators, and writing service providers.

Registration includes: [1] One high profile located vendor space. Does not include a table and chairs. Vendors must bring a table no larger than 6ft and a chair. All tables must have a tablecloth or covering. [2] Maximum Promotion includes: → A full-page ad in the Expo Souvenir Book with photo, bio, and book/product photos; → Listing on the Expo website with photo and link to author’s website; and → Featured in Expo marketing and promotion materials, including the promo video.

During the Expo, separate presentation space can be used for Meet the Author events, Book Talks, Book Signings, and more. Presenters will be assigned a specific time in 30 minutes intervals. This time slot reservation does not include a vendor space. Vendor space must be purchased separately to sell books/merchandise at the event.
