Award-winning author Sandra Dawn Swaby Robinson was born and raised in Jamaica, where she spent a decade inspiring young minds as a teacher. She later moved to the United States to build a life with her husband and create new opportunities for their son. Sandra enjoys dancing, cooking, reading, and spending time with loved ones. Family is at the heart of everything she does, and she especially cherishes the time she spends with her son, nephews, and niece.

Despite enduring the loss of all her siblings and close family members in consecutive years, which tested her faith in God, Sandra remains resilient. In 2008, she was diagnosed with stage 3 kidney disease. This hardship led her to express her struggles and connect with God through poetry.

Today, Sandra's faith is growing stronger. As a devoted servant of God, she acknowledges the long journey ahead and believes that with His grace and mercy, she will one day meet Him.
