Writer, poet, songwriter, and performer, Sharese Simone, also known as LaLa, was born in Long Island, NY, and raised in various cities of Prince George’s County, Maryland. She is a “cool mom” to one daughter, entrepreneur, soul singer, healing work advocate, and forever student of life. Simone has been writing since childhood and has preserved her collection of unpublished works. Third Quarter Moon is her debut publication, written to inspire compassion, self-love, reflection, and empowerment. Her goal is to cultivate and share meaningful experiences with others through vulnerability, authenticity, and intentionality.
